17/07/2024

THRONE AND LIBERTY is an upcoming, free-to-play MMORPG launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in North and South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. However, eager players won’t have to wait long to get their first taste of all that THRONE AND LIBERTY has to offer, with its open beta taking place across all platforms from July 18 to July 23. Those interested in participating can find all the details over at the official THRONE AND LIBERTY site. The beta is comprehensive and provides a great sense of what players can expect from the full game. But with so much to experience over the five-day test, we took the liberty of highlighting some of the fantastic content that participants will have the opportunity to try.

1. Play with your friends across platforms

Along with being free to play across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, THRONE AND LIBERTY also supports cross-play, meaning players can easily link up with their friends regardless of platform. Once in the game, players can invite any friends to their party, guild, or friends list.

2. Take part in a variety of massive-scale, open-world battles

THRONE AND LIBERTY features several kinds of large-scale activities, with some events allowing thousands of players to engage in battle together at one time. During the open beta, players can participate in exciting field events with three teams battling inside a world zone turned hostile. They’ll also get to experience Conquest Battles, which pit two guilds against each other with the victor gaining control of the territory along with various buffs and other bonuses as their prize. Additionally, open beta participants can experience THRONE AND LIBERTY’s massive open-world dungeons firsthand, with their unique blend of player-versus-player-versus-environment (PvPvE) elements. Finally, beta players can take on open-world PvPvE Arch Bosses, where multiple guilds must battle each other while also attempting to take down a powerful boss, with the winning guild claiming the spoils.

3. Conquer challenging, instanced co-operative dungeons

Player-versus-environment (PvE) fans will also have plenty to sink their teeth into during the THRONE AND LIBERTY open beta. Get ready for instanced, 6-player PvE dungeons with fun and challenging mechanics that demand skillful coordination from your party for success.

4. Morph into a host of different creatures to navigate a dynamic environment

The world of Solisium features a variety of different biomes, with dynamic weather further altering the landscape. THRONE AND LIBERTY offers a fresh take on exploration and traversal: at the touch of a button, players will instantly turn into creatures that can glide, swim, or run for a faster travel experience that allows you to reach unique areas of the map. Use these transformations in combat as you complete unique mechanics that require you to use all aspects of the terrain around you.

5. Express yourself with deep character and armor customization features

Beta participants will also get their first taste of THRONE AND LIBERTY’s robust customization options, including a deep array of character presets not only for entire characters, but for individual sections such as face, body, and more. Additionally, THRONE AND LIBERTY enables robust armor customization, allowing players to apply skins and unique color schemes to their character, and different style and patterns to their base armor sets. Additionally, THRONE AND LIBERTY features a class-free system where your weapons decide your role. Combine and configure two different weapons to maximize strength, defense, and damage. Learn more about how to participate in the open beta over at the official THRONE AND LIBERTY site, and have fun! We can’t wait to hear all about your adventures.
