We’re excited to provide the very latest update on the Lost Ark roadmap for 2024, which includes several key highlights that players have eagerly awaited. You can find full details in this comprehensive update post at the official Lost Ark site, but see below for a high-level overview!
AUGUST
Indigo Island: Off the coast from Kurzan Continent in the Sea of Gienah, Indigo Island will open up for players at Item Level 1600 to explore. Indigo Island will include a quest that opens up access to the single-player “Underwater Cave” dungeon.
Maharaka Festival: Maharaka Festival will continue with a new quest, unlocked in August, to help carry on the summer celebrations.
Style Book: This new feature allows players to upload their favorite character customizations to share with other heroes and to view what other players are wearing to gain inspiration from their outfits.

SEPTEMBER
New Continent – North Kurzan: It’s time to continue your story in Arkesia and head north to explore the next part of the Kurzan continent. The Demon Legion and Chaos Guardians have taken over, and the revival of Kazeros seems to be imminent. North Kurzan will be accessible to characters with an Item Level over 1600 who have completed the South Kurzan world quest, Kazeroth Raid Overture prologue quest, and Epic Behemoth Raid prologue quest.
Tier 4: Tier 4 will bring a mountain of new content and systems to Lost Ark, and will be the biggest endgame update and overhaul to date in the Western Version of Lost Ark. We’ll share more details leading up to Tier 4’s release in September so that players feel up to speed and ready to hit the ground running.
New Activities:
Kurzan Frontline is a new type of hack-and-slash content similar to Chaos Dungeons. Instead, it consumes 100 Aura of Resonance, so you’ll only need to enter once a day.
Kenuart Fortress is a new dungeon that players can challenge alone or in a 4-player party. It requires Item Level 1620 and can be entered up to three times per day.
General Changes:
The combat level cap will increase from 60 to 70, roster level cap from 300 to 400.
Lost Ark will add Tier 4 Gems, which now include an attack power increase along the other effects and include special effects on damage gems for support classes.
Behemoth Raid: The 16-player raid requiring Item Level 1640 against Behemoth will release, granting Tier 4 materials and weapon transcendence to victorious players.
Express Servers: We plan to include an evolution of Jump-Start Servers for new players: Express Servers. Express Servers bring special, limited-time worlds that will allow players to progress quickly with various progression and material boosts and some new upgrades.
Yoz’s Jar Season 3: Yoz’s Jar Season 3 will release in September. We know players have been clamoring for this new season of Legendary Skins, so we hope you enjoy entering Tier 4 with your legendary new styles!
Ark Pass: September will see the release of our next Ark Pass to help players make the most out of their gameplay.
OCTOBER
Aegir Raid: Aegir will be the next Kazeros Raid that players will take on. This 2-gate Kazeros Raid will require players to face off against dangerous threats, with Akkan returning for a fight in the first gate, and Aegir appearing as your foe in the second.
Thaemine the First Removal: When the October Update hits, the Thaemine the First difficulty will be removed, so players should aim to clear this challenge and earn the rewards before it disappears.
NOVEMBER
Hyper Awakening: Hyper Awakening Skills will be added, which can be used with a separate key.
Buzzling Island: A fun new, honey-bee-themed island to explore with new quests and adventures for players to take on.
New Pet Abilities: All pets will have these abilities randomly granted, which will assist you in areas of the game such as your Stronghold, Tradeskilling, Dispatches, and in Crafting.
