Gaming Dreams Come True! 🎮🚀🕹️ From the moment Amazon Games announced its new Bucharest studio, Simion Laurentiu knew he had to be part of it. As one of the first Quality Assurance (QA) Specialists to join the team, he's helping shape the future of gaming while living out his childhood dream of creating amazing player experiences. "Having the chance to be one of the first people to join a newly opened studio is something that leaves you speechless," says Simion. "Our teams are growing with the studio and knowing that everyone here has real input in its construction and culture is incredibly exciting.” Getting early access to games while they’re still in production, it’s QA’s job to find existing problems and ensure the game respects the foundational concepts from the developers. While that's the basics of the job, for Simion the work truly begins with finding the right people. “Everything in QA starts from building a true team out of respect and trust, not just a group of specialists working together. This helps us elevate our productivity and communication to new levels, but most importantly, fosters a very open method to present our feedback and ideas. We put players and their gaming experience first in all we do. Everything revolves around our players; their fun and goodwill is our main mission. Being an active gamer myself, I don’t have to imagine what it’s like to be a customer – I am one!” Well played, so glad you're here! Want to be a part of building something special? Amazon Games Bucharest is growing, and we're looking for passionate gamers who believe in putting players first. We’re actively hiring across QA, Engineering, Art, Design and more. Time for a Friday cruise through the pet slack to check in on our Games' kitties. Starting on the left and heading around the clock we have Moose Goose hard at work, Big Chungus waiting for his order (guessing bento box), Fig and Newton QA’ing their new tree, Barley and Ember having a kip and leeching a little body heat because why not, Cosmos cosplaying as a dorito when he sits and we do not judge, all love to Mocha and Latte who have found their forever home thanks to our man Paul, foster parent of the year and one helluva Quest Designer, Ticu finding new ways to stay warm and micromanage, and Wednesday, who while she waits (semi) patiently for treats she’d like it known she is NOT AI generated, just pretty much a perfect cat who knows how to work a camera (and owner) thanks very much. Have a great weekend everyone, go play some games!
