Try the following steps if you're experiencing a purchasing issue.

  2. If you are attempting your purchase through the Steam website, please try purchasing through the Steam application, or vice versa.

  3. Restart your computer and test your purchase again. All transactions that are initiated through anonymous proxies will be declined by Steam.

  2. If you receive an error message stating that your payment information has "been updated too often within a short amount of time," your account has been blocked for security reasons.

  3. Please wait 24 hours before attempting to update your payment information. Any attempt during the 24-hour period will start another 24-hour block on your account.
